10th Avenue Realty was founded in Columbia, SC under the name Kelly, Jordan & K Realty in January, 2001, but it took on a brand new name and fresher look in October, 2003. My objective from the onset: give sellers an option and buyers a choice. Representing both sellers and buyers, I've designed simple programs proven to save both parties substantially without my clients losing service, expectations or quality in what I do. How? I concentrate on keeping my overhead down, passing along the savings to my clients and ultimately, giving them what they expect: service at full value!; thus, exceeding everyone's expectations. Now for you to know me a little better...
Originally from Columbia, SC I left to venture out into a new world in 1978 to return unexpectedly to SC in the summer of 1997. During my long absence, I jumped into Corporate America settling in Atlanta, Georgia assisting a soon-to-be Fortune 500 company grow from a mere 6 million dollar operation to over 100 million dollars with over 60 acquisitions within only three years. Falling to Corporate America, several relocations followed for my family and I, many out of state and within very short periods of time. When the dust did finally settle, I found myself easing into real estate, originally on the construction end working directly with large residential developers/builders with my hand in commercial as well. I can honestly say that I'm acutely aware. Moving every nine months for many years commissioned me into real estate, an experience I can justly and personally pass along.
In my professional career as a Realtor and sole Owner of 10th Avenue, it's never been my goal to arm myself with many unproductive, unethical or unseasoned agents just to outfit the company like a "franchise". My philosophy is not to be the largest, just the most reputable and the strongest in our market place. My success truly speaks in volume. My work ethics are strong and personal.
For you, my personal and professional experiences have armed me with incredible knowledge. I know the market, I understand the market, and I sincerely understand you. And most importantly??? It is always about... "Feeling Good About Going Home!"
And lastly, after a brief tenure in Central East Coast Florida in 2007, I have returned [home] to the Carolinas (June 2008) operating in Charlotte, NC (Mecklenberg & Union County) and the SC Piedmont Region including but not limited to the high growth areas of Lancaster, York & Chester Counties respectfully.
As 2008 continues, I look forward to our continued success and doing what I love.
